Stevie Clark

A Multidisciplinary Creative Lead with a Passion for Digital and Human-Focused Design & Products.

I've been in the design game for a solid 14 years, wearing different hats including designer, art director, creative director, user experience designer, product designer, and ux lead.

UX Roots

My most recent job landed me at Health Union, a company that manages online platforms, websites, and social media communities where individuals with specific health concerns can connect, share their experiences, access information, and offer support to one another. I spent over 4 years there as UX lead upgrading the virtual community model, and working with the in-house tech team making crucial improvements to the user experience. The overall goal there was to make connection easier for folks looking for support during the toughest phases of their lives, and I felt good about my contribution every day.

Creative Direction in the Hospitality Sphere

Before that, I served as Creative Director at the Schulson Collective portfolio of restaurants in Philly, directly overseeing the branding and interior design launch of 4 restaurants during my time there, as well as maintaining branding standards for the rest. Photoshoots, design team sourcing and managing, social media content planning, website maintenance, overseas packaging sourcing, interior design decision making (including the tiktok famous speakeasy door at Alpen Rose boutique steakhouse haha), research and development trips, and much more were all wrapped up in my day-to-day.

Powers Combined…

I, along with my super talented team there, created transportive and magical environments in each restaurant that made the guests choose our restaurants time and time again to celebrate their most special and intimate occasions. Long story short, this job secretly conditioned me to value my contributions to the user experience above all else in my career pursuits. I found the same fulfillment at Health Union, and will be looking for the same in my next career endeavor.

Personal Endeavors

Beyond design, I'm seriously into two other things: people and our planet. Nature grounds me, and when I'm feeling overwhelmed I immerse myself in a good, long hike. I strive to continue forming real and genuine connections with people, making the internet more accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate, making art that gets people thinking or acting, and always staying curious.
